The Ecosystems Project
Ecosystems are the environments in which all life on Earth survive. Imagine that you have been hired by your local library to investigate an ecosystem on Earth and to report on your findings. You will "travel" to this ecosystem to report about what lives there, and how it works. You will report on the food webs, biotic, and abiotic factors found in this ecosystem.
Outcome: Using our textbook, web resources and print sources, you will be able to report on your ecosystem. This report will include biotic, abiotic, and limiting factors with all feeding relationships demonstrated in a food web. (All highlighted words are vocabulary you should know by the end of the project.)
Product: To report on your findings you will make a Powerpoint/Google Slides presentation, and a poster. This project will have several components as listed on the rubric, and it will be presented to the class upon completion of the project. The grading rubric can be found here, and a research project sheet can be found here.
Due Date: Tuesday, June 6, 2023
